Repair Kopitiam is an initiative to bring the community together through repair so as to combat the throwaway culture for a sustainable world. While it is easy to discard or perhaps recycle, we can still salvage the product by repairing it. Participants are not only able to hone their technical skills, but they will also find value in objects as well as learn valuable lessons in the process of repairing such as perseverance, discipline, and patience.
Participants can bring almost anything that can be carried down and needs a new lease of life, such as electrical appliances, clothes that need mending, or broken household items.
