Outdoor Ethics with Leave No Trace™

Attend for $35 - $120

In recent years, outdoor activities have been gaining popularity with the exponential developments of nature parks that are easily accessible. This brought about increased impacts to the outdoors and we saw that education on responsible enjoyment was not in tandem to the active promotion to encourage people to go out there.
To make outdoor enjoyment more sustainable, there needs to be greater awareness to learn low impact outdoor skills and knowledge so that users will understand ways to minimise these impacts.
This workshop will help participants understand impacts from different recreational activities through local and overseas case studies. We will also be introducing the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace™ that can help them plan and manage their next outdoor activity with minimum impacts created while still enjoying the great outdoors!
Key highlights from Outdoor Ethics with LNT™ — Awareness Workshop (Virtual):

  • Understanding different types of impacts from outdoor recreations;
  • Sharing case precedents from local and overseas contexts;
  • Introducing the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace;
  • Virtual quiz and engagement to keep the experience lively.

Our Outdoor Ethics with LNT™ — Awareness Workshop (Virtual) makes a suitable professional development programme and is highly recommended for outdoor educators, tour leaders, camp facilitators, nature guides and any individuals who simply enjoy the outdoors.
