Latitudes of Longing

Attend for FREE

Overview

Latitudes of Longing seems to explore the very fundamental reasons for our civilizational and climate crises. Crossing the geographies of South Asia, it is an imaginative novel, blending the natural with the supernatural, exploring the truths in nature beyond our human grasp.
We will discuss how geography (the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal) affect lives and human personalities; if our exposure to the natural world generates imagination and creativity allowing us to link more easily to the earth and the motif of magical realism used in storytelling (as in folktales) about our connections to Nature.
